Rates & Booking Information

Summerfield Campsite is open from March 1st to October 31st inclusive and for the 2017 season our rates are as shown below.

The single basic pitch price = £20.00 per night.

The single pitch price with Electric Hook Up = £25.00 per night.

The pitch price allows for up to 2 adults and three children under 15 years old.  Additional adults are charged at £5 per head per night and additional children are charged at £1 per night.

Pitch bookings are secured by payment of a one night non refundable deposit

The operational standard of the campsite is that one tent = one pitch. There is no additional charge for the larger family tents but we do reserve the right to make an additional charge (depends upon how busy we are) for ultra large tents (10 berth and above). Please call to discuss if you think that you may fit into this category.

Each pitch allows for one vehicle. Additional vehicles are permitted at a charge of £3 per night. Depending upon ground conditions we reserve the right to request that vehicles are not parked on the campsite itself.

Day visitors to our camping guests are welcome and this is subject to a charge of £5 per day for the vehicle and occupants. Again, we reserve the right to request that vehicles are not parked on the campsite itself.

We do not charge for gazebos of up to 3m x 3m positioned immediately in front of your pitch. Gazebos larger than this up to 5m x 5m are charged at £5 per night.  Larger 'exhibition' style gazebos are charged at the pitch price.

Coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer is also available.

Dogs are welcome and there is no charge. However, there is a basic set of straightforward rules that must be adhered to at all times.

1. All dogs must be be kept on a lead at all times.

2. All handlers must scrupulously monitor and clean up after the dog. (Poo bags are available FOC on request).

3. Dogs must not be noisy or antisocial to other dogs or visitors

We would take this opportunity to remind visitors that we have our own dogs and horses and there is livestock on adjoining land. Any dog found to be out of control risks ejection from the site.
