Summerfield Campsite is a relatively new campsite for tents and motorhomes aimed at families and all those campers who want to appreciate the simple pleasures of the countryside. 16 of the pitches are available with electric hookup. An award winning purpose built toilet and shower block with separate ladies and gents facilities is housed within the main barn immediately adjacent to the campsite area. There are four showers and three toilets in the ladies and three showers and toilets in the gents. Both have ample washing facilities. There is also an accessible shower room and toilet for disabled persons incorporating a bathroom for visitors with small children (toddlers) that are not used to using showers. Housed within the same facility is a separate washing up and drying area with fridges and a 'pay as you go' washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a chemical disposal point for use as required. We have a small retail area for drinks and ice creams and that is about as far as the retail bit goes as there is a Budgens supermarket on the edge of Kimbolton less than 2 miles away.

The site has a WiFi Internet connection that is available virtually over the whole site. we offer a basic FREE connection for checking emails and light web browsing but for those visitors requiring a little more speed we can supply a voucher code to enable you to connect at speeds up to 1Mb. This is available at a cost of £5 for a 48 hour period.

The site opened to welcome its first visitors in spring 2014 and offers a natural and relaxed approach to camping with some flexibility in pitch location. There is plenty of space and top quality shower and toilet facilities. Set in 3 acres the open, flat, campsite area overlooks rising arable farmland to the south. As if designed to perfectly complement the campsite, visitors can once again take a gentle stroll down the farm track to enjoy the delights of the White Horse Pub directly opposite the campsite entrance.  The pub has been closed for refurbishment since November 2017 but reopened in July and is proving hugely popular. If planning to eat there, it is highly advisable to book beforehand especially at weekends.  There are a good selection of other local pubs just 2 or 3 miles away in Kimbolton and Upper Dean
